The water needling action creates a uniform, well‑integrated structure that gives the fabric its characteristic drape and integrity, while avoiding any risk of binder migration or stiffening.

Because the manufacturing route relies solely on mechanical action, the material’s intrinsic softness, high absorbency, and excellent air permeability—all derived from its cellulosic viscose base—are completely retained. In addition, the interlocking of fibres creates a surface that is virtually lintfree, yet provides good tensile strength and tear resistance, even though the fabric feels light and pliable.
